Brick Cleaning - Ampthill Road Before
EcoLogic was commissioned to carry out works on a large, 19th century family house on Ampthill Road in the Calthorpe Estate, Birmingham. The three-storey red brick building was of considerable historical value, having been owned by Major Walter Clopton Wingfield, the founder of lawn tennis, in the mid-1800s.
In order to return the building to its former condition, the current owners wanted the bricks cleaned to remove stains from years of organic growth to be from the outer walls and a previous coating of paint to be removed from the natural stone window ledges.
